Re: Standing in at The Labour Hall

Monday 15th August - Friday 19th August 2011
Kevin emailed me to say he was going away on holiday and would I mind going to the Labour Hall each day while he was away for the week on holiday, as the guidelines for the selection procedure state that all mail must be dealt with on a daily basis, my instructions were to open any mail addressed to me and if there were any applications for emergency postal votes, to pass on the reasons to Dan and Ann, and put any returned postal vote envelopes in to the ballot box and lastly deal with any answer phone messages, all of which I was happy to do as I had that week off.
There were two postal votes in total, which I put in the ballot box, the only other mail was Nigel Long's traffic survey returns, a couple of invoices, a cheque donation and someone who had sent the tear off slip from the credential letter for some reason, and lastly a letter from the Bretts, all left on Kevin's desk.
